Assembly of the last tower segment on the GICON high-altitude wind tower so that the tower reaches a height of 157 m. The world's tallest wind turbine is taking shape. The high-altitude wind tower is intended to harness wind energy at high altitudes. Depending on location and operating conditions, stronger and more consistent winds at high altitude can achieve a significantly higher annual yield than with current systems. System: telescopic tower system, hub height: 300 meters, total height: approx. 360 meters, assembly is carried out with the KR 900 Liebherr LR 11350 crawler crane. Workers assemble another section of the tower, Schipkau, Brandenburg, Germany
