The S177 is to be relocated or rebuilt in Radeburg. The Saxony State Directorate expected this to improve traffic management, direct connection of the industrial park to the A13 and relieve the city center of through traffic. As the first part of the construction project, a bridge was built. Cost: 900, 000 euros. The planned road construction measures on the S177, including bridge connections, were halted.
