Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - Emscher conversion, new Emscher AKE sewer, here the new Oberhausen pumping station, Germany's largest wastewater pumping station, uses 10 pumps to pump up to 16, 500 litres of wastewater per second from a depth of around 40 metres.
