Surfing facility in the city centre of Rotterdam, Rif010, supposedly the world's first wave facility for surfers in a city, in the Steigersgracht, a 130 metre long and 21 metre wide wave pool was built in the existing canal, waves up to 1.5 metres high can be generated, every 7 seconds a wave breaks for the surfers, the 4.5 million litres in the pool, water is moved by 8 wave machines, Netherlands
