St. Joseph, Missouri - A tranquilizer chair from the 18th century on display at the Glore Psychiatric Museum. The chair was designed to totally immobilize a patient. The museum documents the treatment of the mentally ill at the former State Lunatic Asylum No. 2 and elsewhere.
