While visiting the Bisti National Wilderness in New Mexico, USA, I set myself the goal of making a photo that looked as if it had been taken on another planet. After using GPS to hike in to this area, I scouted for a composition and then set up for a long exposure to capture this image of the hoodoo rock formations left over from an ancient sea. It truly was an amazing experience! Canon 5D II, Rokinon 24 mm lens, Induro tripod and ballhead, f/11, 15 minutes, ISO 800
