Caption
The Quiraing on the Trotternish Ridge is a dramatic landscape shaped by a massive landslide. Layers of basalt over softer sedimentary rock have collapsed over time, forming cliffs, pinnacles, and plateaus that continue to shift today. The ridge is on the Isle of Skye, part of the Inner Hebrides off Scotland's northwest coast, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Sea of Hebrides
