The Kelpies are two giant steel horse heads, each nearly 100 feet (30 metres) tall, located over the Forth & Clyde Canal in Falkirk, Scotland. They were designed by sculptor Andy Scott and completed in 2013 as a tribute to the horse-powered heritage of Scotland, celebrating the strength and endurance of the working horses that once powered the region's industry and canals. They are the largest pair of equine sculptures in the world
