Peasants playing boules in front of a village inn (c. 1660), painting by David Teniers (baptised 15 December 1610 in Antwerp, died 25 April 1690 in Brussels), Flemish painter, draughtsman and curator. He was an innovator in a variety of genres such as history painting, genre painting, landscape, portrait and still life.
