Cologne Cathedral has been shining in new light since Easter 2025, the old metal halide lamps have been replaced by over 700 modern LED lamps, reducing energy consumption by around four-fifths, significantly improving the quality of light and greatly reducing light emissions, 12 KM of new cables were laid for this, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
