Dinslaken, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - Combined heat and power plants (CHP) generate electricity from wastewater digester gases, which is used by the Emscher-Mündung sewage treatment plant for its own power supply. The old CHP unit at the Emscher-Mündung sewage treatment plant in Dinslaken is getting on in years and needs to be replaced. Temporary rental CHP units (pictured here) relieve the stationary CHP units so that they can then be renewed or replaced
