Many Germans were simply stupid. The war was over, Hitler was broken, and yet some wore his beard and crown. Our soldiers shouted: “Oh, look, that's Hitler! 'and shot him. Twelve to fifteen Hitlers were brought to the headquarters every day, all with moustaches and slanted heads
