Historical sky map titled Coeli Stellati Christiani Haemisphaerium Posterius. It comes from the celestial atlas Harmonia Macrocosmica by German-Dutch cartographer Andreas Cellarius, which was first published in 1660. The map is unique because it replaces traditional pagan constellations with figures from Judaism and Christianity, based on the ideas of astronomer Julius Schiller from the early 17th century. The zodiac signs were replaced by the Twelve Apostles. Constellations from the southern hemisphere depict figures from the Old Testament, while those from the northern hemisphere represent characters from the New Testament, digitally restored reproduction from a 17th century model, authentic, exact date of depiction unknown
