THW multi-purpose boats during a training trip on the Rhine, near Düsseldorf, of the Water Hazards Section, this type of boat is used to transport people and goods as a rescue boat and as a working platform, during the major exercise FÜLEX25, lasting several days, of the THW, Technical Relief Organisation, North Rhine-Westphalia Regional Association, over 3500 volunteers from the 127 North Rhine-Westphalia local associations practise many different deployment scenarios over 4 weekends
