NGA, Lagos, 20.05.97 -- Free churches in Lagos. -- The waves of the Atlantic ocean wash around members of a free church on Victoria Island off Lagos. Christian groups in the 12 million metropolis have created a refuge on the beach for their religious practice. Many have been pushed to the beach following the settlement of foreign companies and are trying to organize their lives here.
