After the partial collapse of the Carola Bridge, a dam was built for the demolition work on the Neustädter Elbufer. Continuous monitoring has shown that the frosts of the last few days have caused further rusted prestressing steels to crack, so work has been suspended for the time being and navigation on the Elbe has been closed, Dresden, Saxony, Germany
