Hoyerswerda Castle is located on a hill in the centre of Hoyerswerda's old town in the Saxon district of Bautzen. The original moated castle from the 13th century was destroyed and remodelled several times. Today it houses the town museum, Hoyerswerda, Saxony, Germany
