Astrid Lindgren. Swedish author of childrens books, songs and novels. Born 14 november 1907 - 28 january 2002. Internationally famous for the books featurings Pippi Longstocking, Emil of Lönneberga, Karlsson-on-the-roof and the Six Bullerby children. 2017 she was calculated to be the world's 18th most translated author. Roughly 167 million of her books was sold worldwide 2010. Pictured with child actresses Jonna Liljendahl and Liv Alsterlund who plays the main characters in the 1979 film Du är inte klok Madicken
