Germany, Berlin, 19.09.2023, Marzahner Bockwindmühle, a trestle windmill in Berlin-Marzahn, the name of the mill type says it all: the mill house stands vertically on a single thick beam, the house tree, which ends just above the ground. The house beam is supported by a four-footed trestle. This allows the mill, which is more than 14 metres high, to be rotated through 360 degrees. Wooden bollards are placed around the mill. They mark the minimum distance so that nobody is hit by the rotating wind blades, which have a span of around 20 metres. 01, Europe
