Swayambhunath, Swayambhu Mahachaitya, sometimes called the Monkey Temple, the Swayambhu stupa, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley photographed in winter against the blue sky. On the white dome, with a pigeon walking on it, stands a cubic part, the harmika, with eyes painted on its four sides, known as Eyes of Buddha or Wisdom Eyes.
