Dockyard in the 1930s. The ship M/S Gripsholm is undergoing maintance and the ship is risen in a dry dock. One of the stern propellers is visible and a worker is seen working on the hull. Theh ship was delivered 1925 to the swedish shipping company Svenska Amerika Linien and was at the time the most moderna ship on the Atlantic. It had a length of 168, 5 meter and 22, 7 meter wide. A veritble luxury palace in witch the most famous people travelled the seas. It was built in Newcaste England by Armstrong, Whitworth & Co
