The Easter fountain in Schechingen has around 13, 000 hand-painted eggs. This makes it one of the largest and most beautiful in the whole of East Württemberg. Around 50, 000 visitors admire the decorated village fountain every year. The motifs on the Easter eggs are varied. One series, for example, shows the crests of the Bundesliga football teams.
