Burial place of the Wettins in the east choir of Freiberg Cathedral. At the request of Christian I, this chapel was decorated with life-size bronze statues by Giambologna's pupil Carlo di Cesare del Palagio (1538-1598), who was brought from Florence especially for this purpose.
