Recklinghausen, Castrop-Rauxel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - EMSCHERLAND construction project, a 37-hectare water and nature discovery park at the water crossroads of the Rhine-Herne Canal and the renaturalised Emscher on the city boundary of Recklinghausen and Castrop-Rauxel. The ecological focal point at the confluence of Suderwicher Bach and Emscher will also be a future garden for the International Garden Exhibition 2027.
