Kaditz is a district in the north-west of Dresden in the Pieschen local authority area directly on the River Elbe. The village of Kaditz was incorporated into Dresden in 1903. Altkaditz is an idyllic old village centre with a large church, while the district as a whole is affected by the motorway, sewage treatment plants and the risk of flooding
