Oleograph of Sri Krishna, as a young child with foster mother Yesoda, many of these are tresured in homes all over India. The Carnatic Studio, Madras brought within its fold many other artists to create designs and paintings which would be used to create oleographs, postcards, textile labels, etc. A unique attribute to some of the prints from Carnatic Studio, Madras is the imprint of the signature of the artist thereby making it possible to ascertain the artist of the painting which is used as an exemplar
