Deucalion survives the deluge with his wife, Pyrrha. Engraved illustration from 'The Temple of the Muses', 1733. This book represented remarkable events of antiquity drawn and engraved by Bernard Picart (1673-1733). In Greek mythology, Deucalion the son of Prometheus, is closely connected with the Flood myth, according to which, the anger of Zeus was ignited by the hubris of the Pelasgians. he survives the deluge with his wife, Pyrrha.
