The Plates from the Second Book of the De Humani Corporis Fabrica by Andreas Vesalius, (1514-1564) Plate 26 - The Third Plate of the Muscles. This plate illustrates the anterior view of the body and differs from the first plate of the muscles in this way that it displays the muscles constituted of fleshy membrane and also several of the facial muscles, completely freed of fat.
