He felt something with a curve in the design of the Stadium was needed. â€òSomething light to reflect the Cityâ€ôs attitude to life.â€ô Here the gentle sweep curve of a section of the Compression Ring on the columns of the stadium against the back drop of Hoerikwaggo captures Robert's idea that is now a reality. A slice of the stadium can often depict the character of this new landmark far more effectively than a bigger view. The curve in the design of the Stadium is impressive.
