Burundi, Bujumbura Rural, Kebezi military base, February 2006, Major Chris Els inspects the military base on his arrival in Burundi. The troops of the South African Defence Force make up the largest contigent of the peacekeeping forces of ONUB (United Nations Operations Burundi). Aproximately thirty families have built their houses around the base for protection against the last remianing rebel group FNL (Forces national le liberation).
