Luc Fournol Estate

For Art weekly magazine then for Jours de France, Luc Fournol took pictures of the most famous artists of his time.

EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION

First for the weekly publication Art and then for Jours de France, Luc Fournol photographed the most famous artists from the 50s to the 70s: painters, writers, actors, musicians. Neither studio photos nor journalistic photos, his pictures have an evocative power that render each image eternal. Many of these photos have become famous. Today, Fournol devotes himself to his collection of modern paintings. A certain number of these works have been brought together in Instants d’années 1950-1970 (Memorable moments from the 50s to the 60s) (Denoël, 1997). He held regular exhibits in Paris and his prints can be found in important collections.
