The swimming pool at Brockwell Lido in Brockwell Park, seen from the north end with sunbathers in the foreground and a lifeguard watching over swimmers in the pool. The Brockwell Lido opened in July 1937. It was designed by Harry Rowbotham and T L Smithson in a Modernist style for London County Council (LCC). The lido is one of four surviving outdoor pools built, funded or managed by LCC from 1906-1939. It is Grade II listed.
