Easter Sunday service at the Greek Church, Bayswater, London, c1903 (1903). Saint Sophia Cathedral, Bayswater, is a Greek Orthodox Church. It was consecrated on 5 February 1882 by Antonios, Archbishop of Corfu. During World War II London became the seat of the Greek government in exile and St Sophia therefore became the cathedral of the Greek Nation. From Living London, Vol. III, by George R. Sims.
